MY EMAIL LIST +
I have been asked many times about my email list. Here are some facts.
- No, I cannot give anyone my entire list. There have been times when a situation arises where one resident must contact another resident by email. Of course, if it is an emergency it will be done
- My list consists of:
- Friends and neighbors from Regency
- Former residents of Regency who want to continue knowing what is happening at Regency
- Residents from other adult communities
- Residents who just live in Monroe Township
- Politicians
- I am working on an Email and Emailer Disclaimer that will appear on all my emails. My Disclaimer will make it clear that I don’t represent any Corporation, Business, Adult Community, etc and that many issues contain my personal opinions. Naturally I try to write things as factual as possible but the disclaimer will indicate that the reader might have to fact check issues I write about if they feel that my facts might not be accurate.
- As mentioned, things dealing with the HOA and Politics will not be discussed in my emails. There will be one exception. Just like the Regency Reporter includes messages from our Mayor, I do have Politicians on my email list who want to provide Regency residents with updates as to what is happening in our Township. This is fine. However, I will not include anything that deals with supporting them for an election or supporting whatever party they are affiliated with.
- Unfortunately, I will no longer include in my emails my asking for your support in having a resident elected to any office or position whether it’s for a position outside of Regency or within Regency (eg. Becoming a Board member).
A message from Councilman Charles Dipierro (Ward 3 Monroe Twp)
As I mentioned, Charlie will be sending us information that we might all want to know about. He and I have been discussing how to save residents money and what is happening with the traffic light on Mt Mills Road (where a big accident happened).
Here is what Charlie wrote me
I am working on mounts mills road / Spotswood Englishtown Road traffic light start up. We are estimating from County and building so as soon as I have confirmed date I will let you know
Here is a program for qualified seniors that I wanted to share! Hope you are doing well!
Thanks Charlie
NOTE: THE PROGRAM THAT CHARLIE SENT ME THE FORMS FOR PROBABLY DOESN’T AFFECT ANYONE ON MY EMAIL LIST. THE MAXIMUM YOU CAN EARN IS $10,000 ABOVE SOCIAL SECURITY. IF YOU FEEL YOU MAY QUALIFY, SEND ME A NOTE AND I WILL SEND YOU THE FORM. I BELIEVE ALL YOU GET BACK IS $250.
YET AS I MENTIONED IN MY PREVIOUS EMAILS, $70,000 OR LESS THAT YOU REPRORT ON YOUR TAXES MAY QUALIFY YOU FOR A PROPERTY TAX FREEZE. IF YOU DO QUALIFY, USE THE PRI FORMS THAT I INCLUDED IN PREVIOUS EMAILS.
DO YOU HAVE A MORTGAGE AND HAVE YOU PAID THE FIRST TWO QUARTERS OF YOUR PROPERTY TAXES FOR 2018 in 2017. (FACT CHECK)
What is FACT CHECK? This will be something new for my emails. When I am unsure of things, I will offer what I think is happening but it will be up to you to FACT CHECK it out.
OK, now if you have a mortgage and have paid your property taxes for the first two quarters of 2018, you might be getting a BIG check from the bank that holds your mortgage. Why? Because most banks use the money collected in 2017 to pay for your first quarter of taxes in 2018. So your Escrow account will have a surplus and this surplus is returned to you plus your monthly payment gets reduced accordingly.
