CELL & HOME TEL. NUMBERS

AUGUST 2019 TELEPHONE LIST CONTAINING CELLPHONE AND HOME PHONE NUMBERS

After about three full days of making entry’s, I finally added all the information that residents have sent me.  The RESIDENT DIRECTORY which is issued by the HOA, is becoming obsolete.  Landlines are becoming obsolete.  More and more residents and people in general are switching to CELLPHONES and are eliminating their landlines.

Again, I want to thank Alan Briskin for all his help in dealing with some EXCEL issues that needed to be corrected.  Also, my thanks to  Steve Lipner, who looked at the EXCEL file and made some changes that would make it easy to view the file.  He also, added a FILTER, so that if you want to look up some resident, you don’t have to scroll down the entire list to find it.

Let me explain this FILTER.  At the top of the list you will find the headings of each column.  By the way, each page will now have these heading.  To the right of the heading will be an arrow.  Let’s say you click on the arrow to the right of LAST NAME and in the SEARCH box you put in the residents last name.  It will now automatically show the records for this person.

I even went to the box that has STREET and put in HOGAN and everyone living on HOGAN, these records were seen and nothing else.  This now will end my having a second list with STREET ‘s being listed.  It saves me a lot of work.  So again, you can see who lives on your street.

Many of you told me about residents who have moved.  Their records were removed, except for their cellphone numbers.  Many of you might still want to be in contact with some of the “movers” so I decided to leave these records.

Steve also made it easier to view each line since we now have a white followed by a gray line.

Let me know what you think about our new list.  Let me know if you feel that something is missing.  I’ll probably be able to update this list every few months, so if you add or change numbers, let me know.

Again, thanks Alan and Steve
