UPDATE ON MY NEW WEBSITE

With Arthur Ehrlich’s help we are about 95% done in transferring  most of what I had on Startlogic to Go Daddy.  Once I copy my Startlogic files – Startlogic will then be closed down.

The new website will have some new changes.  On the right hand side where you see CLICK ON THE LINK, this will be very helpful especially for new residents.  I will be adding information about clubs or activities, like shuffleboard, bocce, etc so that new residents can learn who to contact if they want to play and when these activities take place.  So each club or activity, please write me something about your club or activity and it will get posted.  It will change only when you ask for it to be changed.

Yes, many have asked about my showing the monthly birthday’s.  The email after this one will begin again showing your birthday’s and anniversary’s for the current month.  If you aren’t on my list, please send me this information.

My High School list and Cellphone # list will be updated since many of you have sent me the information but I haven’t gotten around to updating what you are currently seeing on my website.

Arthur has added SUDOKU AND DAILY CROSSWORD PUZZLES if you get bored reading my emails.  Arthur’s site TIPS AND POINTERS are also on the right side.  Just click on it.  By the way, even before Arthur’s involvement with my website, I used Arthur and his group for any problems I had with my computer.

I know many of you listen to the Jukebox music.  However, the maximum I can upload for any file is 2MB.  Most of my music and pictures and slideshows are greater than 2 MB so I have two choices.  One is to hope that Arthur finds a program that would lower the MB of the file or my second choice is to pay Go Daddy to increase my MB.

LAKEWOOD IS ASKING FOR MORE STATE AID FUNDING

What are our elected politicians doing about it?  Like I said, by September (before elections) if we get nothing, then we need to elect new politicians.  They had over 10 years to do something and Monroe Twp is one of just a few townships that gets practically nothing in State Aid for Education.

REGENCY EREA CLUB MESSAGE

You Can Visit Cuba With The Regency Dining Club Ethnic-Restaurant-Eat-Around And You Don’t Even Have To Pack A Bag!

By Marty Feldman

The Regency EREA Club has set a dinner for Sunday, July 23 at a local Cuban restaurant. This next outing will provide a great chance to sample the ethnic afro-latin-caribbean cuisine of this country. Not spicy hot, but savory; unique and flavorful representing the multi-cultural influences of those groups that came to this island nation.

Think of sitting and sipping a Mojito or Cuba Libre( which you can bring yourself; the restaurant is BYO) and nibbling on plantain chips with a hot blooded mambo rhythm playing in the background, waiting for your food to arrive. Or you can step up to the conga drums and play for the group if you can. In any event the date is set, the menu is set and a good time is guaranteed.

For additional information call me. As always , first come, first served reserving your space.

BETTER SAFE THEN SORRY

Recently my hot water dispenser sprung a leak under my sink.  How did I know?  Well under every sink and wherever there is water I put a water alarm that works on a 9 volt battery.  It went off and believe me, you heard the alarm.  Now if I had no alarm, it might have gotten very wet under my sink but this alarm helped prevent something like this from happening.  These alarms are very inexpensive.
