BIRTHDAY’S & ANNIVERARY’S – JULY

Many residents have written me or have told me that they have received a letter from the HOA for the homeowner to powerwash their home.
I guess someone has walked the community to check and see if our homes should be powerwashed. The problem I see and so do many others, if these individuals are walking on our sidewalks I doubt very much if a home looks worse than our sidewalks. If I took a poll asking residents if our homes look nicer than our sidewalks, what do you think will be the answser? My sidewalks are green, black, dark brown and light brown and our HOA is concerned about our homes? Something doesn’t make sense.
Now, who should pay for cleaning our sidewalks. I had sent the HOA pictures of our sidewalks before transition of section 1 showing how disgusting our sidewalks are. The cost of cleaning should be part of what we received in our transition. However, all we are told is that we received $1.9 million but what is covered in this amount?
The other problem, which I guess was overlooked by the HOA regarding our sidewalks is that there should be some rubber, or some type of filler, between sidewalks and the spacing shouldn’t be over a certain amount. I would suggest that women don’t wear high heals when walking on my sidewalks since the gap is almost, or maybe, over 1 inch and there is just a hole, no filler and/or no rubber filling.
Now let me talk about our cobblestone curbs. During transition, some guys came around and put cement in where cement was missing on our cobblestone curbs. Guess what, it might have lasted 1 month. So when the HOA looked at our homes, did they look at the missing concrete or the cracked concrete in our cobblestone curbs? I am not a concrete person but filling in a ¾” gap with concrete that cars ride over, did we think that this would last even a year?
Now let me talk about our streets. All the cracks were filled in with black tar. The street behind me looks like a crossword puzzle. Yet, the HOA accepted this or didn’t they? So if we see a home that has some black and the homeowner was asked to powerwash, then the HOA, in it’s transition should have asked Toll to do something about the “paint job” in the streets.
Maybe this email should serve notice to the HOA that they shouldn’t look at our homes until they take care of all the more disgusting features of our community. Again, the responsibility of who pays for this shouldn’t be a residents – it should have been Toll’s responsibility as part of the Transition.
At one time I wasn’t receiving many of the sendouts by the HOA. However, before sending letters to homeowners, it would have been nice if the HOA sent out an email saying that in 1 month they will be checking our homes to see if it needs powerwashing. It might have saved a lot of letters that the HOA sent to homeowners. My apologies if they did send it out, but I never received one.
As you can tell, I send out many emails during the week. My main email goes out on Saturdays. My weekday emails are usually emergencies or something that needs immediate attention, like selling tickets before my Saturday email.
I hope the community understands that sending out emails IMMEDIATELY can’t be done all the time unless it is something that needs immediate attention.
My MAILCHIMP emails also have some limitations as to how many emails I can send out over a given period of time. So I use the HOA EMAILER when I reach these limitations.
I have brought to the attention of the HOA that their email list is missing many email addresses (including mine which was on the list, off the list, on the list). Names just fall off of this list. My MAILCHIMP list is more complete with over 150 more email addresses then my HOA EMAILLR. So, when I send out a message during the week by using the HOA EMAILER, not all of you will be receiving this message. The only time you will know about the message is if a friend says, “did our receive Ron’s email?”
I will be working on making my MAILCHIMP list as complete as possible. Once this is done, I will be looking for another email service that will give me better pricing on sending out as many emails as I want.
At the top of this page (under Regency Emailer) you will find HIGH SCHOOLS. Please check to see if you are on the list and if you are listed in the correct high school. If not, please let me know

Join Regency Hadassah and find out about the
Secret Jews and Hidden Lives Medieval Times to the 21stCentury
Monday evening, August 21 at 7PM in the Regency Club House Ballroom
Enjoy this thought provoking night with Regency Hadassah as we meet Antonia J. Martinez (Julie) who will provide insight into the history of the Jewish population of the Iberian Peninsula and its ramifications centuries later. Born into the Catholic faith, Julie was innately drawn to Judaism without any rational explanation. She began a search without knowing what she was searching for or why. The answer revealed itself to her over a period of three decades. Come listen to her historical and personal discoveries that have led her to embrace her newly found heritage, stifled over the course of centuries past. Learn about the hidden lives of Crypto Jews. Following the Spanish Edict of Expulsion in 1492, many Jews publicly converted to Catholicism, yet continued to practice Judaism in secrecy. Learn about all of this and so much more.
This meeting is open to all.
Refreshments to be served. RSVP to Genia Beeferman at email@example.com or call 732-656-4525 or Leslie Kohn at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 732-656-1412. The other day I was watching PBS and they had the music and story of Karen Carpenter.
Back in the 60’s and early 70’s her music was beyond FANTASTIC. Her life ended sadly but her music remains on. So I made a little jukebox so that you can list to many of her songs. Just click on the song. Hope you enjoy it.
