REGENCY NAMES & FACES

Well, I have been very busy adding  NAMES & FACES to my website.  You can now even see what the EMAILER looks like (eechh!) but thank goodness Greta makes the picture look great.  Just click on REGENCY FACES in the black box below REGENCY EMAILER.  Who knows, your picture might be there.

Back in the “old” days, I took thousands of pictures.  If you moved to Regency, 10 years ago to the present, I probably don’t have your picture.  Please send me a JPG and it will get posted.

I tried to keep it alphabetical but I noticed I goofed on some of the names being out of order.

NOTIFYING RESIDENTS ABOUT YOUR CLUB, GROUP ETC.

If you check the right hand side of my home page you will see CLICK ON LINK.  Scroll towards the bottom and you will see BOWLING – WOMEN’S & MIXED.  I get calls and emails ALL THE TIME, especially from new residents about various clubs and groups and who to contact.  So to make my life easy, if you are responsible for running some Club, Activity, Group, etc. please send me an email describing what your club, etc. is all about and who can residents  contact if they are interested in joining.

You will have a separate link on my website and this information will stay there until you send me any changes.

Many times I get asked to run a certain email for weeks or even months.  I will develop a link on the side which will say EVENTS.  Your event will be posted there instead of in my main message until you say that I can remove it.  I’m going to put EVENTS on the very top of the list since this is what most of Regency will be involved with.  EVENTS, may also include other emails which need to be repeated.

FISHING CLUB NEWS

Saturday May 22 Club members Stan Stawinski, Billy Taylor, Mark Klein with Kevin and Ryan fished aboard Stan’s 31 foot Cabo “High Voltage” sailing out of Morgan Creek, NJ. We knew the Striped Bass were gone and that the Fluke and Sea Bass season was open. We left the dock at 6:30 am and headed for Sandy Hook Bay inside of Sandy Hook off the Coast Guard Station to try Fluke fishing.

We fished for two hours along with many party boats and private boats, we only had two shorts and only saw one keeper on another boat, otherwise it was dead. We then left Sandy Hook Bay headed into the ocean and headed Southeast to the Scotland Grounds and drifted, conditions were great, the current and wind were very slow.

The Sea Bass fishing was unbelievable, the five of us had a total of 6 Fluke only one keeper but had over 100 that is correct over 100 Sea Bass of which 32 were keepers (over 12 1/2″) mostly between 14″ to 19″. The Sea Bass season is only open for about one month and you are allowed to keep 10 or 15 fish per man. Take advantage of the great fishing come join us on our next trip.
Fishing Club meetings are held on the third Monday of each month in the Arts and Crafts Room at 7:00 pm, all are welcome.
We will be going out June 1,2 or3 depending on the Weather aboard the Dauntless sailing out of Point Pleasant, NJ. for Bottom Fish, Sea Bass, Ling, Winter Flounder, Cod and Pollack.
