Property Tax Reimbursement (Senior Freeze) – You Might Qualify
The new form for the Senior Freeze program will be coming out shortly. Here is the number to call and you can check to see if you qualify. If you are new to the program, you have to file the PTR2 form. Residents who have done this before need to file the PTR1 form.
My personal opinion after listening to the recording about who qualifies for this program, many residents might be eligible. It will be nice to FREEZE YOUR TAXES and no longer pay the increases each year.

MY NEW DISCLAIMER
As mentioned in my previous email, beginning with this email a DISCLAIMER STATEMENT will be included at the end of all my emails.
I know many of you are wondering what is going on. Even though I have gotten messages about a certain issue, I am refraining from sending out anything in my regular emails at this time. I have asked, however, for the Board and I to meet to discuss what is happening and for us to come to some kind of a reasonable solution.
NOT RECEIVING MY EMAILS?
A few residents have written me that they haven’t received my emails. I found many reasons for this happening. Sometimes my emails go into your SPAM or JUNK folders, so please check. Also, please add rpost@monmouth.com into your email address book.
There are times that someone’s email address just drops off because I see it on my Master list but it isn’t on my GoDaddy list.
Since this represents just a handful of residents, the easiest way of correcting it is just to send out a regular email to these residents copying the message that is going out in GoDaddy. So, any problems, please let me know
REGENCY REPORTER ARTICLE ON FEDERAL TAX DEDUCTIONS FOR RESIDENTS
Last week the Regency Reporter had a very interesting article on MONROE SUPPORTS STATE EFFORTS TO PRESERVE FEDERAL TAX DEDUCTIONS FOR RESIDENTS
Click on link if you haven’t read the article
https://app.box.com/s/5hfziss64ayni4ny4b947pzbz18gasat
This is very interesting and if anyone has any additional information, please send it to me so that I can send it out to the readers. I did hear from one resident that he knew about it and will be pursuing it as well as the portion of our taxes that goes towards school development.
My personal opinion – I HAVE TO BE CRAZY NOT TO SUPPORT SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

THE REGENCY FISHING CLUB IS FISHING IN FLORIDA WATERS
HOLY MACKEREL! AFTER READING MARK’S EMAIL REGARDING FISHING IN FLORIDA, I GOT SEA SICK JUST THINKING ABOUT MARK’S COMMENTS ABOUT THE BOAT MOVING BACK AND FORTH. HERE IS MARK’S MESSAGE:
Hello from windy Florida, I hope your weather has gotten better and no ice or snow. Spring is coming soon. I hope this finds all Regency Residents are well.
The Regency Fishing Club held our first fishing trip in Florida today Feb 7. We chartered the Black Dog along with members of the Huntington Lakes Fishing Club, with ten men aboard sailing out of Jupiter Florida. Our members Fred Rosenberg, Marc Achers, Phil Levy, Rich Schwartz and myself Mark Klein were aboard. We left the dock late at 12:00pm because of traffic on 95 and sailed east out of Jupiter Inlet. The weather was in the 70’s, slightly overcast but very windy. We traveled about two miles east off shore to our first reef. In Florida you are not allowed to anchor because it would damage the reefs, so the wind moved the boat at about 2 miles an hour.
As soon as we dropped our two hook Hi/Lo rigs with a 5oz. sinker, all aboard were catching fish. Bait was squid and pieces of sardines. The beautiful part of fishing the reefs is that there are so many different species of fish. We caught Yellow Tail Snappers, Florida Porgies, Mangrove Snappers, Sea Bass, Triggerfish and many other species that are not food fish. We caught some of the most beautiful fish with so many different bright colors. In fact I caught a Squirrel Fish which is a deep orange, the problem is they are poisonous and you can’t touch them. We also hooked two Sharks but could not get them off the bottom as they traveled away from the boat and breaking our 40# lines.
In Florida waters there are strict rules, regulations and seasons, most species have different seasons so fish that are too short, out of season or non edible were thrown back. Thank goodness the Captain & Mate knew all the species and the regulations. Counting the many many fish we had to through back we had about 20 keepers of different species. I personally had a total of between 45 to 50 fish and most had at least 25 to 30 fish.
It was a great day, but rough, you had to watch yourself as the boat would roll over 4 to 6 foot rolling waves, but we all survived and had a great day. Plans will be made for future trips through the end of March. Those in Florida interested in joining us Contact Mark Klein at 732-991-8264, space is limited to 10 people.
