PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOA LIST, WHICH THEY WILL PROBABLY USE FOR THE PRINTED TELEPHONE DIRECTORY MAY NOT HAVE ALL THE CORRECTIONS. MY LIST, WHICH WILL BE ON MY WEBSITE, WILL HAVE ALL THE CHANGES THAT RESIDENTS HAVE SENT ME.
I AM STILL WORKING ON ALL THE CHANGES
FINALLY, I WILL NO LONGER INCLUDE PDF FILES. ALSO, LET ME APOLOGIZE IF YOU SENT ME A CHANGE AND IT WASN’T MADE. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I TRY TO USE THE LATEST FILES AND THEN ADD TO THEM. SOMETIMES, I USE OLDER FILES AND GETTING RID OF PDF FILES WILL NOW HELP IN KEEPING MY FILES UPDATED SINCE I WILL ONLY USE THE TWO FILES BELOW WHEN I MAKE CHANGES.

ISRAELI AMERICAN CLUB – PURIM PARTY – MARCH 9TH
A MESSAGE SENT TO THE REGENCY CULTURE CLUB
.
January 26, 2023
Regency Culture Club
25 Crenshaw Court
Monroe Twp., NJ 08831
Dear Culture Club Members,
On behalf of the recipients of your generosity and kindness, please accept my heartfelt thanks for your continued support of the Monroe Township Senior Center. We are extremely grateful for your recent, the very generous donation of $2,500. Your contribution affords us the opportunity to offer our seniors quality programming, services and most importantly, provide the socialization needed for their well-being.
Your support of the Senior Center and its activities significantly impacts our community’s large senior population providing them the opportunity to stay actively engaged physically, mentally, and socially which helps them thrive in mind, body, and spirit. We are sincerely grateful for your partnership and involvement in all we do.
We could not do this important work without the dedication and passion from donors like the Regency Culture Club. We share the common goal of helping and serving older adults. Thank you again for your kinship and sense of community, and for helping make the Senior Center a better place. TOGETHER we make a difference!
Warm regards,
Karen L. Theer
P.S. For tax purposes, our federal ID number is 22-3591346.
RESIDENT FOUND GLOVE
Found, one glove. It is on the sidewalk between 54 and 56 Beth Page Drive. If it’s still there by Mon. it will be taken to the lost and found at the clubhouse.
A simple way to prevent Non-Residents from going to the Residents’ Gates
NOTE: A RESIDENT SENT ME THIS EMAIL AND IT CERTAINLY DOES HAPPEN A LOT. THE GPS TO MY HOME SENDS VISITORS TO THE MT MILLS GATE AND THEY CALL ME TO ASK HOW TO GET INTO REGENCY
I am sure that at one time or another all of us have been delayed in going through one of our Residents’ Gates by either a vendor or a guest who put the Resident’s address into their GPS only to be directed to the closest (Residents’) gate.
The simplest way to prevent that is for the Regency Residents to tell their guest or vendor to enter the street address of the CLUBHOUSE; 61 Country Club Drive, into their GPS.
This will ensure that these folks will then arrive at our MAIN GATE entrance on Rt522.

UPDATE BY OUR NEWSMAN, STEVE WILLIAMS, REGARDING MT MILLS ROAD
.
The designs for the road improvement were completed over a year ago. Bids will be going out and once a contractor has been approved the road construction will start. No time was given for the start of the construction but if everything works out construction could start by the summertime. This is a major improvement that will not be completed in a month but IF everything works out the project could be completed during the coming winter

Taiji – Regency at Monroe Chinese Club
The Regency at Monroe Chinese Club is proud to offer a course on Taiji. Taiji, also known as Tai Chi, is an ancient Chinese martial art practiced for health benefits, defense training, and meditation.
There is growing evidence of health benefits in
practicing Taiji. In this course, we will introduce the basics of Taiji, and teach you the Yang Style Simplified 24 Form, which is the most practiced Taiji form set in the world.
The class is held every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 pm at the Regency at Monroe Clubhouse (61 Country Club Drive, Monroe, NJ 08831) in the Fitness Room (indoor pool level). We will like to keep the class size to 15-20 people. So, pre-registration if you know you are interested. Send an email to the below contact.
The class is taught by an experienced teacher who has taught Taiji in Community Senior Centers and Community College settings (see short bio below).
It is open, and everyone is welcome. The class is conducted in English, if the class is diverse.
(Teacher is well versed in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.)
The course is expected to last for 25 weeks. The fee for all 25 sessions is $50.
The class is FREE for the first two introductory sessions. Fee will be collected in the third session.
Start date: January 19, 2023 2:30 – 3:30 pm. Thursday

A MESSAGE FROM MARIE TOMASULO RE: JULIET LUNCHEONS
Our Holiday Juliets was a very successful event. I thank you so much for all your help. Because of so many in our community getting sick and many away until spring, I would like to let everyone know that I will resume Juliet luncheons in the Spring (hoping everything settles down). Looking forward to seeing everyone and everything back to normal.
Sincerely,
Marie Tomasulo

The policy of the Regency Reporter Editorial Board is not to stop delivery to residents who are away for the winter. There are too many people going away and we feel that it’s unfair to ask our volunteer delivery staff to have to “know” who does not want their paper while they are away for the winter. The Editorial Board of the Regency Reporter kindly requests that residents ask a neighbor to remove and recycle their papers while they are away.
Thank you for your understanding,
The Editorial Board of the Regency Reporter

Yes, these are very difficult times especially since many, if not all, the clubs we have at Regency are in hibernation.
I have added many new residents who do want to get involved with some of these clubs.. I have no clue who, at Regency, should be contacted if someone wants to join a club.
Please send me your name, telephone number and email address so that I could post the information on my website so new residents can possibly join your club.
Thank you Nina Wolff for providing us with the names of residents who can be contacted if we are interested in joining a Club
