POLITICS IN MY EMAILS

I have received one or two emails dealing with some of Mark  Klein’s emails regarding State Aid for Education.

Let me be clear about this.  I recently joined a group of residents from other adult communities and residents from our township who have said, “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” in regard to Monroe Township not receiving our fair share of State aid for education.  There is no question that if I polled Regency, we would all agree that Monroe Township was treated unfairly by the State.

About 8+ years ago I attended a meeting in the Mayor’s conference room and present was Senator Greenstein and some other legislators.  The meeting was to discuss what our elected officials will be doing in order for Monroe Township residents to pay less in our taxes and receive more in State Aid for Education.  Promises were made and yet,  NOTHING was ever accomplished.

Then at our last election PROMISES were again made and again NOTHING was done.

Should we sit back and listen to more PROMISES.  I think this time they are talking about getting us less than $1 million which is a total joke.  Other townships are getting millions. I’m not even talking about townships that have different demographics than us.  Yet, they get millions for Education and they also get millions when they want to build a new school and we get very little State Aid.

Why am I fighting?  I could easily sit back and do nothing and just pay the taxes and pay for the new schools.  I am fighting for those residents who live in Regency who are financially concerned about more taxes and more new schools that we have to pay for.  I think we all know that 2 schools will probably be built within a few years plus plenty of renovations in some of the existing schools.  Just remember, when the High School was built, we spent $120 million

That’s why I keep writing, DON’T VOTE FOR GREENSTEIN, DeANGELO OR BENSON.  Let’s find new “blood” and hopefully they will find a way of getting more State Aid for Monroe Township.  I don’t ask much from Regency but I do ask that you support the efforts of our group.

Thanks
Ron

MORE DISCOUNTS – DENTIST PROGRAM

I don’t know about you but I don’t have dental insurance.  So we pay whatever our dentist charges for a procedure.  I guess I lucked out because my dentist is part of a program called SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL SMILES.  For individuals joining is $10/month and for family it is $19/month.

If you look at this page:
