IN THE BALLROOM FOR LATKES, DONUTS AND TO SEE

“FANNY’S JOURNEY”

Based on a true story, this is an incredible tale of bravery, strength and survival, a story of a daring young girl who will stop at nothing nor fear anyone. In 1943, 13-year-old Fanny and her younger sisters were sent from their home to France to an Italian foster home for Jewish children.  When the Nazis arrived in Italy, the girls’ caretakers desperately organized the departure of the children to Switzerland.   When they were suddenly left on their own, these 11 children do the impossible and reach the Swiss border to freedom.

THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ALL, SPOUSES AND FRIENDS BUT PLEASE RSVP SO WE CAN PREPARE APPROPRIATELY

DO YOU NEEED A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

If anyone is in need of hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for a few hours in the afternoon please contact Allen at (732) 656-1718. A Certified Nursing Assistant is more highly qualified than a Home Health Aide but she provides similar services.

HAVE YOU EVER GOTTEN A LEAK AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR REFRIGERATOR BUT IT ONLY HAPPENS PERIODICALLY

Well strange things were happening with our Refrigerator. It’s a side by side Kitchen Aid.  One day we found a lot of water that leaked on the floor at the bottom of the refrigerator.  The next couple of days, no leak.  Now that’s strange, except, 3 or 4 days later, another leak.

I have American Home Shield and I gave them a call. Naturally each visit is $100 so if you are facing a similar problem, here is the answer that the repairman gave me in maybe 3 seconds.  Our drainage line or some other line (forgot what he said) that goes through the back of our freeze is probably clogged with ice.

So, we have to take everything out of the freezer (refrigerator part is okay) and let it defrost or as he said, put a hairdryer in it and run it for 2 hours.  I will probably run several hair dryers.  Fortunately I have a second freezer.

Hopefully you won’t have this problem but if you do, what I just wrote will save you a service call.

CARRIAGE HOME IN NAPLES FLORIDA FOR RENT

We recently bought a new carriage home in Naples, Florida within Lely Resort. It is a large 3 Bedroom, 3 Full Baths unit approximately 3000 square feet.  We are renting it for November, December and or March.  The home is fully decorated and would include full membership into the Players Club & Spa.  Normally it would cost 300 per month to have access to the facilities, but that is included in the rental.  The rates are $5000. For November, $5500 for December and $7300 for March.  I can provide you pictures of our home should you or potential renters require.

Please let me know should you need any additional information.

Many thanks.

LETS TALK TURKEY 2017

While still enjoying the last days of summer, the Regency Culture Club is looking ahead to fall. We are gearing up for our annual Ten for Turkey Drive. As the holidays draw near, turkeys will be absent from many households.

The Regency Culture Club supports our community by assisting the Monroe Township Office on Aging Holiday Food Basket Drive.   We are once again turning to our friends and neighbors and requesting each household  makes a minimum donation of $10.00 so that we can put a turkey on the table to complete the holiday picture for many township families.

One turkey goes a long way in providing a number of meals. And the bones, oh those bones make a great soup.

Your generosity over the past 13 years that we have been collecting Ten for Turkeys is much appreciated. Your support is urgently needed once again. Help make a difference in the lives of our township neighbors in need.

Please make your checks payable to the Regency Culture Club and leave them in the mailbox of Milt & Sue Paris at 25 Crenshaw Ct, Ken & Joan Kastin 10 Harbor Town Way, Sue Miller 19 Torrey Pines, Barry & Laura Shandler 10 Hogan , Marsha Krane 16 Country Club Drive, Jim & Sue Graham 13 Ballybunion, Marge Weinberg 17 Tamarack Road, Sandy and Larry Cains 94 Kings Mill Road
