TELEPHONE DIRECTORY’S
Again, thank you Alan Briskin for sorting the telephone directory and removing all of the sorting problems.
On this page (right side) you will find the PDF and EXCEL files dealing with our Telephone Directory. It’s sorted by last name as well as street name.
MY DECISION REGARDING WHAT I WRITE ABOUT
I want to thank everyone for your very kind and appreciated emails regarding my emails and what I write about. It was basically, not it was 100% unanimous that when a resident runs for some position in the Township that I would support this Regency resident (s). Naturally I will remain neutral if there are 2 positions available and we have three residents running.
So, let me just say PLEASE VOTE FOR STEVE RIBACK FOR THE BOARD OF ED. His name will be on the ballot. What I usually say is, just vote for the resident and nobody else. Target voting usually will be more beneficial to the candidate.
Naturally when our 3 Fire Commissioners run for the Commissioner’s position (Joel Kaplan, Jerry Kaplan and Jim Fisher) we have to show our support in their being re-elected.
WHY I DO EMAILING
Residents tell me all the time that Emailing must be a full time job. It actually is a 24hour/7day a week job. For more than 15 years I have received emails from MANY residents thanking me for what I do. Actually, no thanks are necessary. I do what I do because of YOU! This community is totally AMAZING.
I am now finding out that some other adult communities no longer have their Emailers. I guess the job was too much for them to handle. A friend in Florida told me that a friend of his, who lived all the way down his street, passed away and he never found out until weeks later because they didn’t have an emailer.
This part of my emailing affects me the most.
When I received the following email from a resident it just made me recertify why I do what I do. Of course, I will delete the name of the resident from her email
Dear Ron,
Moving into a new community was quite difficult for (RESIDENTS NAMES) until we received your first e-mail.and the ones that followed. We would never have known what was happening at the Regency.. You made us feel that we belong here. You have undertaken an unbelievable job. Thank you and your family for understanding how much you mean to us and I’m sure the people in our community .
Yes, a tear or two rolled down from my eyes. I get emotional when told things like this.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR RESIDENT FIRE COMMISSIONERS
MONROE TOWNSHIP HAS THREE FIRE DISTRICTS. WE ARE IN FIRE DISTRICT 3, WHICH IS A FULLY PAID FIRE DISTRICT 24/7.
IT WAS AGREED BY THE FIRE DISTRICTS AND THE MAYOR THAT THE ENTIRE REGENCY WOULD BE IN FIRE DISTRICT 3, SO THAT THERE WOULD NOT BE A DISPARITY IN THE FIRE TAXES. WE HAVE BEEN YOUR FIRE COMMISSIONERS FOR THE PAST NINE YEARS AND OUR YEARLY BUDGET HAS BEEN UNDER THE TWO PERCENT CAP. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING THE OUTDATED FIREHOUSE ON BUCKELEW AND SCHOOLHOUSE ROAD WITH THE HELP OF THE TOWNSHIP.
WE INTEND TO PUT AN AMBULANCE IN THE QUARTERS. OUR BOND WILL BE FULLY PAID OFF FOR OUR OTHER FIREHOUSE. WE WILL BE DEBT FREE AND WILL BE ABLE TO BOND THE NEW BUILDING WITH NO INCREASE IN YOUR FIRE TAX.
AGAIN, WE NEED OUR FIRE BUDGET PASSED, OTHERWISE WE WILL LOSE SOME OF OUR FIRE PROTECTION.
THANK YOU.
FIRE COMMISSIONERS DISTRICT THREE JOEL KAPLAN, ERALD KAPLAN, JIM FISHER
(EMAILER’S NOTE: I KNOW I SPEAK FOR THE COMMUNITY IN THANKING OUR FIRE COMMISSIONERS FOR PROVIDING US WITH THE EXCELLENT SERVICE OF CHANGING OUR FIRE AND SMOKE DETECTOR BATTERIES)

LETS TALK TURKEY 2017
While still enjoying the last days of summer, the Regency Culture Club is looking ahead to fall. We are gearing up for our annual Ten for Turkey Drive. As the holidays draw near, turkeys will be absent from many households.
The Regency Culture Club supports our community by assisting the Monroe Township Office on Aging Holiday Food Basket Drive. We are once again turning to our friends and neighbors and requesting each household makes a minimum donation of $10.00 so that we can put a turkey on the table to complete the holiday picture for many township families.
One turkey goes a long way in providing a number of meals. And the bones, oh those bones make a great soup.
Your generosity over the past 13 years that we have been collecting Ten for Turkeys is much appreciated. Your support is urgently needed once again. Help make a difference in the lives of our township neighbors in need.
Please make your checks payable to the Regency Culture Club and leave them in the mailbox of Milt & Sue Paris at 25 Crenshaw Ct, Ken & Joan Kastin 10 Harbor Town Way, Sue Miller 19 Torrey Pines, Barry & Laura Shandler 10 Hogan , Marsha Krane 16 Country Club Drive, Jim & Sue Graham 13 Ballybunion, Marge Weinberg 17 Tamarack Road, Sandy and Larry Cains 94 Kings Mill Road
