A MONROE TOWNSHIP RESIDENT NEEDS OUR HELP TO GET INFORMATION THAT WOULD BE REPORTED IN THE WALL STREET JOURNAL REGARDING WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MONROE TWP IN GETTING OUR FAIR SHARE OF SCHOOL AID FUNDING FROM THE STATE
This is the information I received from Vic Cooper (a resident of Monroe Twp):
As part of my work on the Ad Hoc Committe of the Board of Ed, I am seeking news media to do stories about our school board’s lack of fair funding for education. I have prepared the e-mail shown below after meeting the reporter from the Wall Street Journal this past Tuesday. I would appreciate your sending it out to the Regency community seeking resident’s who are willing to be interviewed for her article.
Please let me know if you either have any questions or need further information.
Thanks in advance,
Vic Cooper
As part of my work with the Ad Hoc Committee advising the Board of Education on how to deal with the huge increases in the student population and the resulting increased costs, I have been trying to get publicity for the failure of the State to properly and fully fund our school systen according to existing 9 year old legislation.
I met with Dr. Kozak and a reporter for the Wall Street Journal on 9/19/17. She is more than willing to write the article, but, asked to speak to other residents who are concerned with the state’s failure and/or living on the edge so that increases in property taxes necessitated by our need to fund the increasing cost of educating our students without our full share of state aid, might cause them to leave Monroe and/or New Jersey.
If you would like to speak with the WSJ reporter, please contact me by e-mail, text or phone so that we can make the interview happen ASAP.

YOUR CAR INSURANCE
Periodically I send out this message to hopefully save you some money on your car insurance.
Even though I have Liberty Mutual, you should be able to save $$$ on whatever policy you have.
My policy just went up by over $500 annually. However, after being on the phone with one representative and then with a supervisor from Liberty Mutual my policy went down by about $600 and that’s not including this RIGHT TRACKER that would save me another minimum of 10% but up to 30% if the tracking on my car is perfect. You can’t get less than 5 or 10% even if you don’t drive properly.
SO CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY WHEN YOU GET YOUR NEW BILL AND JUST SAY, YOU SPOKE WITH OTHER COMPANIES WHO ARE OFFERING HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS LESS FOR THE SAME COVERAGE.
There was one resident who had his children’s cars and his and his wife’s car on a policy and he saved over $2000.
GOOD LUCK AND LET ME KNOW HOW MUCH YOU SAVED!
