WOMEN’S CLUB MESSAGES
We would like to thank the community for your most generous support of our collection for Hurricane Harvey ictims. 15 SUV’s were filled with much needed items, as requested by the Monroe Township Police Dept. We thank our drivers for their time. The Police Dept. was overwhelmed by our generosity and send their sincere appreciation.
Our October 3rd bus trip to the Chihuly Exhibit at the Bronx Botanical Gardens is sold out. A wait list has been formed. Please contact Harriet DiSalle to add your name.
Our New Member Tea is Wednesday, September 27th at 7:30 in the tennis pavilion. We look forward to welcoming both new and non-member residents. Contact Laini Katz or Sheila Dohrman for details.
(EMAILER’S COMMENT: LADIES, YOU ARE TERRIFIC! I AM SO HAPPY TO READ ABOUT YOUR COLLECTION FOR HURRICANE HARVEY VICTIMS. SEEING THE DEVASTATION AND KNOWING THAT IT WILL TAKE MONTHS, IF NOT YEARS, FOR EVERYONE TO GET BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE THE HURRICANE, YOUR COLLECTION, ALONG WITH WHAT OUR RESIDENTS HAVE DONE INDIVIDUALLY, ARE STEPS IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION TO GET BACK TO A NORMAL LIFE FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THIS STORM. ALSO, MANY THANKS TO THE DRIVERS.)

The shower, bachelor and bachelorette parties are over and now it’s time for the big day. The families and happy couple are anxious to greet their invited guests at the Meshuggener Wedding Sunday, September 10th at 5:15. Please come in party attire for the celebration.
The bride and groom would like to remind the community not to bring gifts to the wedding. They would appreciate donations be brought to the Women’s Group Hurricane Harvey collection this Thursday 11am to 2pm in the clubhouse lobby. You do not have to be attending the wedding to donate, all donations are appreciated. The list of requested items has been emailed to the membership and additionally Ron Post has emailed those requests to the community. LETS TALK TURKEY 2017
While still enjoying the last days of summer, the Regency Culture Club is looking ahead to fall. We are gearing up for our annual Ten for Turkey Drive. As the holidays draw near, turkeys will be absent from many households.
The Regency Culture Club supports our community by assisting the Monroe Township Office on Aging Holiday Food Basket Drive. We are once again turning to our friends and neighbors and requesting each household makes a minimum donation of $10.00 so that we can put a turkey on the table to complete the holiday picture for many township families.
One turkey goes a long way in providing a number of meals. And the bones, oh those bones make a great soup.
Your generosity over the past 13 years that we have been collecting Ten for Turkeys is much appreciated. Your support is urgently needed once again. Help make a difference in the lives of our township neighbors in need.
Please make your checks payable to the Regency Culture Club and leave them in the mailbox of Milt & Sue Paris at 25 Crenshaw Ct, Ken & Joan Kastin 10 Harbor Town Way, Sue Miller 19 Torrey Pines, Barry & Laura Shandler 10 Hogan , Marsha Krane 16 Country Club Drive, Jim & Sue Graham 13 Ballybunion, Marge Weinberg 17 Tamarack Road, Sandy and Larry Cains 94 Kings Mill Road
