NEW WEBSITE:
I don’t think I can say THANK YOU enough to Arthur Ehrlich for all the time he has spent in developing my new website. It is about 98% complete and we are just waiting for my domain name to be transferred to GO DADDY.
Probably just for this week, when you click on www.regencyemailer.com it will take you to Arthur’s site until I have my domain transferred to GO DADDY.
As you can see, the top bar (black background) has many of the most clicked on items, like Cellphones, Birthday’s and Anniversary’s, Vendor list, etc. On the right side you will see other main categories which when clicked on will open up the information.
There will be some new and fantastic benefits of my new site. First, there is a SEARCH that you can make if you want to look something up that was in one of my emails. It also will store all of my previous emails. Arthur add a daily Crossword Puzzle to keep us busy and our minds active. There is also a TIPS AND POINTERS link that will take you to Arthur’s site which will give you TIPS AND POINTERS about various technology issues.
I am always open for suggestions so if you feel something should be added, please let me know.
PLEASE EMAIL THE MAYOR – THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND CAN SAVE LIVES HERE IN REGENCY
MAYOR’S EMAIL ADDRESS:
Just copy and paste the email below
Here is the message
We are aware that the Board of Fire Commissioners of fire district 3 are building a new firehouse on Schoolhouse Road and 522. It would be to our benefit if an ambulance be stationed there. It would save
2 to 3 minutes of response time to us at Regency and the surrounding area .
As you know during school hours there could be a delay in responding to us from the Municipal Center.

From The Health Committee:
By: Sheldon Opperman MD
I will be giving what I consider to be the most important Medical Talk you will hear, Friday May 19, 7PM in the Tennis Pavilion. The topic will be: THE AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS, ( AED).
You will learn where they are, how to use them as well as Basic CPR. Six of these devices are located at various locations, here in the Regency. You will also learn Basic First Aid CPR, for the adult, child and infant. These devices are easy to use and are made for the layman. This is the fourth time I have given this well received talk. If you haven’t heard the talk or you wish to refresh your skills, I urge you to attend.
Why are Automatic External Defibrillators so important? Because, they are the only effective way to rescue someone in cardiac arrest.
Don’t miss out on this important lecture because—The life saved may be your own or your loved one: Learn to save a life today!
Please sign up with the Concierge.

Benefits Of Yoga
Yoga is an exercise that is helpful to everyone in our daily lives. It works with the physical, mental and emotional bodies. There are numerous benefits but just to name a few would be to help increase flexibility, muscle strength and tone. As we age we want to maintain or gain more muscle strength to stay strong. It helps improve respiration, energy, and vitality and protection from injury. It helps to improve balance and prevent injuries. Aside from the physical benefits, Yoga helps a person to manage and reduce stress. It teaches one to develop mental clarity and increase body awareness, relaxing the mind, center attention and sharpen concentration Relaxation techniques help to lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome. It can also lower blood pressure.
Many styles of Yoga are available and anyone can start at any age. There are always modifications available to suit your needs and flexibility. Yoga’s increasing popularity is proof that many people value an exercise system that engages the mind, body and spirit. Give it a try!

CHECK OUT POSSIBLE LEAKS AT YOUR GAS METERS
Recently two homeowners (that I know) smelled gas at their gas meters…in both cases they had gas leaks! PSEG responded to their telephone calls within fifteen minutes.
Maybe it would be beneficial to request all residents to walk by their meters to check if they detect any odor and take any necessary action.
REGENCY AT MONROE BRIDGE ORGANIZATION (RAMBO)
If you’re interested in what is perhaps the BEST partner card game in the world (we didn’t make that up), please check out RAMBO! We play duplicate bridge every Tuesday evening at the clubhouse (please be there by about 6:45PM – the games begin at 7:00PM). For those who don’t know, in a duplicate game, your pair will be playing the same hands that other pairs play – and your score is based on how well you all do WITH THE SAME HANDS. This removes most of the ‘luck of the cards’, making it a much fairer game than ‘private’ ones.
Our club is a recognized member of the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL), and we play a SANCTIONED game, awarding internationally recognized ACBL Masterpoints. Our games are Invitational – at least one member of each pair must be a resident (but that resident can invite an outsider).
We have what most folks recognize as the least expensive game around, charging only $2 per player – and we provide snacks too!
If you have some bridge-playing experience, please come to the back ballroom at our clubhouse any Tuesday evening and check us out. If you don’t have a regular partner, we can usually connect you with another resident – but you must call ahead.
We look forward to meeting – and playing – with you!
